Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Paul Flynn (Labour), on Monday, 15 January 2018, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 5 members in total.

RE-LEGALISATION OF CANNABIS IN 29 AMERICAN STATES

That this House welcomes the evidence that re-legalising the use of medicinal cannabis in 29 American States has been wholly beneficial in reducing drug crime levels in one state by 41 per cent, and avoiding the increased deaths from opioid use suffered in other states; and looks forward to the same benefits being enjoyed in the UK if patients will be permitted to take their medicine of choice in safe ways such as food, drink or a vapour.
