Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Robert Halfon (Conservative), on Thursday, 8 February 2018, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 9 members in total.
ABOLITION OF HOSPITAL CAR PARKING CHARGES - SUPPORT
That this House is aware of the support of a number of UK-wide charities and motoring organisations for the abolition of hospital car parking charges at NHS hospitals in England; notes the cross-party support for the motion on hospital car parking charges in the House of Commons Chamber on Thursday 1 February 2017; is concerned by the unnecessary burden the charges present for patients and visitors of ill relatives during an already stressful time; and therefore urges the Government to scrap hospital car parking charges at NHS hospitals in England.
