CRICKET IRELAND
That this House congratulates Cricket Ireland on obtaining Test Status; pays tribute to its Chief Executive, Warren Deutrom, and all those who worked so determinedly to bring this about; encourages the International Cricket Council to support the growth of the game at both elite and grassroots levels on the island of Ireland; salutes those players and officials who have promoted and played the sport over many years; and wishes the team every success in its forthcoming historic first Test Match against Pakistan.
