Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Sam Galbraith (Labour), on Wednesday, 6 November 1991, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 33 members in total.
SALARIES OF CLINICAL ACADEMIC STAFF
That this House is concerned with the continuing threat to the arrangement whereby the salaries of clinical academic staff are maintained on a par with their National Health Service colleagues; recognises that the universities wish to pay the full amount; and therefore calls on the Government to give a firm commitment to continuing with the current arrangements.
