Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Jim Cunningham (Labour), on Monday, 11 February 2019, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 27 members in total.
ROUGH SLEEPING IN COVENTRY AND THE WEST MIDLANDS
That this House notes, whilst welcoming the fall in the total number of rough sleepers in the UK, that rough sleeping remains a growing problem across many areas of the country; condemns the particularly prominent rises in the number of people sleeping rough in Coventry and across the wider West Midlands; and urges the Government to accelerate its plans to end rough sleeping, so that rough sleeping can be brought to an end within this Parliament.
