WOODFARM HIGH SCHOOL - GREEN FLAG AWARD
That this House congratulates Woodfarm High School in East Renfrewshire on being awarded Green Flag status by the Eco-Schools programme; notes that this award is presented on behalf of the Keep Scotland Beautiful organisation and encourages pupils and staff members to embark on a meaningful path towards improving their local environment and community; understands that the Green Flag is only awarded to schools which comply with a seven-step program and that this is the highest award that can be achieved; further notes that the Eco-Schools programme is the largest of its kind in the world connecting 19.5 million children, young people and educators through 67 countries on five continents; and wishes the school every success as they continue to champion environmental work in future.
