ROYAL SOCIETY OF CHEMISTRY'S PARLIAMENTARY LINKS DAY (No.2)

That this House congratulates the Royal Society of Chemistry on holding its Parliamentary Links Day at the House of Commons on 6th July; notes that the Society's pioneering and innovative Parliamentary Link Scheme is open to Right honourable and honourable Members from all sides of the House; notes further that the Society's Links Day programme will be considering the wider impact of the recent Government White Paper on Science, Engineering and Technology policy; and applauds the continuing efforts of professional scientific organisations like The Royal Society of Chemistry which seeks to raise the awareness of science within Parliament and which, in the public interest, seeks to provide for all Right honourable and honourable Members assistance and background briefing on scientific issues involving chemistry.
