Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Gregory Campbell (Democratic Unionist Party), on Tuesday, 16 July 2019, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 11 members in total.
FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST MAN ON THE MOON
That this House notes that 20 July 2019 is the 50th anniversary of the occasion when Neil Armstrong was the first person to walk on the moon; recognises the momentous nature of that event; and acknowledges the pride felt by many that Neil Armstrong's roots were in what is now Northern Ireland.
