Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Nigel Evans (Conservative), on Wednesday, 30 October 2019, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 8 members in total.

Support for UK pensioners living abroad with frozen pensions

That this House notes the announcement made on 1 September 2019 that UK pensioners living in the EU will continue to receive their full uprated UK state pension for three years regardless of the outcome of Brexit; regrets that those pensioners have not been given longer term certainty about pension rates; further regrets that 510,000 UK expats living abroad in frozen countries continue to suffer unfairly because the value of their pensions is frozen and not up-rated annually in line with inflation; and calls on the Government to uprate the pensions of all UK pensioners in line with the triple lock regardless of where they live.
