AWARDS FUNDING: GLASGOW EAST ALCOHOL AWARENESS PROJECT

That this House congratulates Glasgow East Alcohol Awareness Project for recently securing funding totalling £9,960 from National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; understands that the group will use the funding to deliver a weekly support session for women who have experienced alcohol issues in Easterhouse in the Glasgow East constituency; acknowledges the vital service that the project has been delivering in the East of Glasgow since 1991 to reduce the harm associated with the use and misuse of alcohol; commends the ongoing work of the project in helping people to take back control over alcohol addiction; and wishes all those involved every continued success.
