Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Barbara Roche (Labour), on Wednesday, 26 May 1993, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 92 members in total.

EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT MOTION ON THE ELIMINATION OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION

That this House notes the rule 63 motion to the European Parliament tabled by Alex Falconer expressing the need for a community directive on racial discrimination; supports such a motion in light of the appalling racist attacks which have occurred recently in Germany, France, Spain and not least, Britain; condemns the sinister proposals of the secretive intergovernmental 'Expulsion Sub Group of the Ad Hoc Group on Immigration' which are likely to lead to racial harrassment; and endorses the motion's urgent call for a Europe-wide race relations law.
