Bowel Cancer step up for 30
That this House notes the awareness bowel cancer campaign Step up for 30; highlights the aim to get sponsored to do 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 days during the month of June; further notes that the activity can be running, swimming, walking the dog, or even some gardening; further notes that the campaign aims to remind people to be aware of the fact that every 15 minutes someone is diagnosed with bowel cancer totalling over 42,000 people every year in the UK; and highlights that early diagnosis is the key to beating Bowel Cancer and people should be proactive in the approach to good bowel health.
