Ealing Carers Short Breaks Service

That this House recognises the important work of Ealing Carers Short Breaks Service in providing respite for carers during this particularly difficult period during the covid-19 outbreak; notes that six groups came together to form Ealing Carers Short Breaks Service, namely, Dementia Concern, Southall Day Centre, The Asian Health Agency, BeFriend, TuVida and the Centre for Armenian Information and Advice; welcomes the news that Ealing Carers Short Breaks Service have been able to deliver 12,367 interventions in the first half of 2020 despite the covid-19 outbreak; further welcomes that Service's plans to provide remote support options and increase the range of online activities available to carers; and thanks Ealing Carers Short Breaks Service for going above and beyond to support service users and their dedication to creating new opportunities that expand upon the potential for that fantastic service.
