Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Andrew Rosindell (Conservative), on Thursday, 27 May 2021, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 3 members in total.
Fourth Plinth, Trafalgar Square
That this House pays tribute to His Royal Highness, the late Duke of Edinburgh for his life of service to the nation; recognises the support that he offered to the Queen throughout their seventy-three years of marriage; acknowledges the huge impact of his work and dedication to the people of the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and to nations around to world; and believes that it would be a fitting and lasting tribute to Prince Philip that a statue of His Royal Highness be placed on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square.
