Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Brendan O'Hara (Scottish National Party), on Tuesday, 30 November 2021, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 9 members in total.
The Creel Seafood Bar, Fionnphort, Isle of Mull
That this House congratulates Siobhan Cameron, owner of The Creel Seafood Bar, Fionnphort Pier, Isle of Mull, on winning the Best Seafood Establishment in Scotland, at The Food Awards Scotland 2021; commends the hard work of manager, Niamh Cowan, and all the staff of the Creel Seafood Bar in contributing to this outstanding success; acknowledges that The Creel only has west coast seafood on its menu and it is this, along with the friendly welcome, which has been a contributing factor in its popularity among both locals, as well as visitors to Mull, Fionnphort and Iona; notes that The Creel was originally opened in 2014 by Siobhan’s mother, Alex, and her father, Andrew, and, had it not been for their hard work and determination to build the business in those early years, none of this success would have been possible; therefore thanks everyone involved with The Creel Seafood Bar, past and present, for what they have done to put this small corner of the Isle of Mull on the culinary map of Scotland and wishes them all the very best for the future.
