Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Clive Betts (Labour), on Thursday, 4 March 1993, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 61 members in total.

FASCISM, SIMON CHADWICK AND DISCIPLINARY ACTION AGAINST CPSA MEMBERS

That this House refers to EDM No. 1000, Dismissal of British National Party Member, and expresses its concern that after British National Party member, Simon Chadwick, was dismissed by the Department of Employment, disciplinary charges were taken out against 14 CPSA members of the Department of Employment staff in Sheffield for their activities in campaigning to have him dismissed from the sensitive public position which he occupied in the Employment Service; and believes that in an international climate of increased activity by fascists and fascist organisations, the Government should take a clear stand against those who advocate fascism instead of those who act in opposition to it.
