Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Derek Enright (Labour), on Thursday, 18 March 1993, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 66 members in total.
BRITISH COAL AND BOYD'S REPORT
That this House notes the statement of the President of the Board of Trade in the Official Report, column 269, on 17th March, that it was not appropriate to comment on the Boyd's Report during the consultative period; is, therefore, all the more appalled that British Coal on 15th March rejected out of hand the maintenance of any of the ten pits before a whisper of consultation had taken place; and calls upon the President to sack the Board of British Coal without delay.
