PRIME MINISTER'S VISIT TO INDIA

That this House warmly congratulates the Prime Minister on the success of his recent visit to India as the first British Guest of Honour at Indian Republic Day since independence; welcomes the fact that Indo-British relations are now the best they have ever been; cherishes the common ties of language, Commonwealth and parliamentary democracy; and in particular congratulates the Prime Minister on leading to India a group of prominent industrialists, which will result in the promotion of development in India and in increased employment and incomes in the United Kingdom.
