Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Norman A Godman (Labour), on Tuesday, 9 February 1993, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 147 members in total.
MRS MARY THOMAS
That this House offers a warm tribute to Mrs Mary Thomas upon her retirement as the Greenock and Port Glasgow Labour Party agent following many years of praiseworthy service to the local party and the wider Scottish Labour Party; is of the view that her wise, honest, practical and sensible approach to district, regional, national and European parliamentary elections has given considerable satisfaction, comfort and pride to party members in Inverclyde and elsewhere in Scotland; and wishes her all happiness in the years ahead.
