Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Gregory Campbell (Democratic Unionist Party), on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 3 members in total.
BBC and pro-trans ideologies
That this House notes recent criticism of the BBC regarding a number of programmes aimed at younger viewers which appear to promote trans ideologies; further notes recent internal dossiers which claimed that the BBC is subject to what amounts to effective censorship by some specialist LGBT reporters who refuse to cover gender-critical stories; and calls on the Government to ensure that those who will be appointed to senior positions within the Corporation in the next few months tackle this issue so that families who wish to watch such programmes are not subjected to this type of bias in future.
