Official opening of the Angus Community Wellbeing Centre (The Beacon)
That this House welcomes the official opening of the Angus Community Wellbeing Centre (The Beacon) in Kirk Square, Arbroath on 2 December 2025; recognises the vital role the facility will play in supporting mental health and wellbeing across the local community and wider Angus; commends the collaborative partnership that delivered this project, including Angus Council, NHS Tayside and Hillcrest Futures as the delivery partner; notes that the centre will provide a safe and accessible space for individuals to seek support, access services and engage in activities that promote positive mental health; further acknowledges the importance of such initiatives in tackling stigma and improving access to care; congratulates all those involved in bringing this transformative project to fruition for the benefit of residents in Arbroath and the wider Angus area; and wishes The Beacon every success in achieving its aims.
