Homelessness support in Eastbourne

That this House recognises the outstanding work of Eastbourne Borough Council and the many local organisations and charities in Eastbourne that support people experiencing homelessness; commends their commitment to providing emergency assistance, outreach, advice and long-term support to some of the most vulnerable members of our community; notes the contributions made by community and voluntary sector organisations including but not limited to the Eastbourne Citadel Salvation Army, Matthew 25 Mission, Warming Up The Homeless, Kingdom Way Trust, Eastbourne Foodbank, Feedbourners, Eastbourne Street Pastors, Change Grow Live, Southdown, Citizens Advice Eastbourne, YMCA Eastbourne Foyer, BHT Sussex, Absolute Angels and Food 4 Thought; acknowledges the positive impact of their collaborative approach in helping individuals move away from homelessness and rebuild their lives; and thanks staff, volunteers and partners for their dedication, compassion and tireless work across Eastbourne.
