Team GB men's curling team's silver medal
That this House wholeheartedly congratulates Team GB’s men’s curling team, Bruce Mouat, Grant Hardie, Bobby Lammie, Hammy McMillan Jr and Kyle Waddell, on winning silver at the 2026 Winter Olympics; commends the curlers and their coaches for their hard work, dedication and determination; notes that this is Team Mouat’s second silver medal following their success at the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022; recognises their commitment to both the sport and Team GB’s collective efforts; applauds their outstanding achievement and wishes them every success in their future sporting endeavours; further recognises Scotland as the birthplace of curling; and believes this success should be used to inspire others across the United Kingdom, particularly young people, to take up the sport.
