40th anniversary of Donaghcloney Brownies

That this House congratulates the Donaghcloney Brownie Unit on the celebration of its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of dedicated service to the young people of Donaghcloney and the surrounding community; recognises the important role the Brownie Unit has played in providing girls aged seven to ten with opportunities for friendship, confidence-building, community service and adventure through the guiding movement; pays tribute to the many volunteer leaders and helpers whose commitment over the past forty years has enabled generations of girls to participate in guiding activities; notes that the Brownie section forms part of the wider Girlguiding movement, which began in 1910 and has for more than a century supported girls and young women across the United Kingdom to develop skills, leadership and a sense of service; and wishes the Donaghcloney Brownies every success for the future as they continue their work supporting and inspiring young girls in the community.
