Waste crime

That this House expresses deep concern regarding the ongoing issues at the Flusco waste site in Newbiggin; highlights failures in gas and leachate management by Seletia, including their non-compliance with regulatory notices; calls for urgent reforms in waste management regulations to ensure accountability from operators; and urges the Government to take the national scandal of waste crime more seriously, ensuring that affected local communities are protected from environmental harm.
