Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Ernie Ross (Labour), on Thursday, 18 February 1993, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 75 members in total.

TIMEX ELECTRONICS, DUNDEE

That this House condemns the high handed and arbitrary actions of the management in the Timex plant in Dundee which has led to the unjustified dismissal of 343 workers for defending established procedures and conditions in the plant; deplores the way the recent employment legislation of the Government has been cynically used by the employers to prejudice the workforce; and calls for the management to end the lock out and to enter immediate negotiations with the trade unions representing the workforce.
