Firrhill High School Pupils Win YPI Award for Dads Rock

That this House congratulates the group of S3 pupils from Firrhill High School on winning their school’s Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) final; notes that their success has raised £3,000 for the Scottish charity Dads Rock, which provides vital, accessible support to fathers and families, including weekly playgroups, parenting workshops, one-on-one support for young and vulnerable dads, and crucial mental health and wellbeing services; applauds the creativity and dedication of the pupils, who acted as exceptional ambassadors for their school and community, even composing an original song to highlight the charity's impact; commends the staff at Firrhill High School for fostering a collaborative spirit and raising awareness of mental health and family wellbeing among young people; and further celebrates the hard work, commitment, and inspiring role that young people continue to play in championing and delivering positive benefits to local charities across Scotland.
