Wild Roots Nature Fest 2026

That this House celebrates the success of the Wild Roots Nature Fest, held from 6 to 14 June 2026 across Lancaster district; notes that the festival’s theme, Reconnecting with our wild roots, encourages people of all ages to step away from screens and reconnect with the natural environment; recognises the importance of access to nature for physical health, mental wellbeing, learning and community cohesion; welcomes the wide range of activities on offer, including guided walks, wildlife experiences and family-friendly events that enable residents and visitors alike to explore and appreciate local green spaces; commends the organisers, volunteers, environmental groups and community partners whose efforts have made the festival possible; further recognises the rich biodiversity and natural heritage of Lancaster district; and encourages continued support for initiatives that promote environmental awareness, outdoor recreation and engagement with the natural world.
