That this House notes that 2026 marks the 220th anniversary of the 'A' listed Regency period mansion, Aikenhead House in King's Park, Glasgow; recognises that its unique neoclassical style enriches the local communities of King's Park, Croftfoot and Simshill; acknowledges the historical significance of the architect David Hamilton, the father of Glasgow architecture; and thanks the private residents within the House along with the Friends of King's Park who currently hold stewardship over the property and park.
