That this House congratulates Smiths of Harrogate in celebration of its 120th anniversary; recognises the remarkable achievement of one of Harrogate's oldest and most successful independent family businesses, founded in 1906 and now in its fifth generation of family ownership retailing beds and furniture; acknowledges the company's unwavering commitment to serving customers across Harrogate and Yorkshire whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service; understands the important contribution that long-established independent businesses make to the local economy and the character of town centres; and wishes everyone associated with Smiths of Harrogate continued success in the years ahead.
