That this House welcomes the announcement that Glasgow Warriors will host Bath Rugby at Old Anniesland, in the constituency of Glasgow West, in a pre-season fixture; celebrates the continued use of one of Scotland's most historic rugby venues and the strong links between Glasgow Warriors and local sporting facilities and clubs; notes that the fixture will provide supporters with the opportunity to see top-class rugby in a local setting while inspiring the next generation of players; further notes the strong Scottish representation expected across both squads, including many current and former Scotland internationals, highlighting the depth of Scottish talent competing at the highest level of the game; and wishes both clubs every success for the forthcoming season.
