Madeley Carnival 2026
That this House celebrates the successful Madeley Carnival 2026, held in Madeley, Newcastle-under-Lyme on 11 July 2026; congratulates the organisers, volunteers, committee members at the Madeley Centre and members of Madeley Parish Council for their tireless work in planning and delivering a safe, successful and enjoyable event; recognises that the Madeley Carnival is a much-loved fixture in the annual calendar for people in Madeley, bringing together residents of all ages and backgrounds; notes the important role that events of this kind play in bringing people together, supporting local charities and businesses, and showcasing the talent and traditions of this part of Newcastle-under-Lyme; thanks all those who took part, including performers, stallholders, sponsors and members of the public who attended; and wishes the Madeley Carnival and all those involved continued success for many years to come.
