Working 4 Wellbeing: fifth anniversary

That this House congratulates Working 4 Wellbeing on celebrating its fifth anniversary of supporting people across Fairford, Lechlade and the surrounding rural communities; recognises the charity's outstanding work in tackling loneliness, reducing social isolation and promoting positive mental health and wellbeing; commends the dedication of its trustees, staff and more than 50 volunteers whose commitment has enabled the organisation to grow from a small Talking Café welcoming six people into a thriving community charity supporting more than 50 people at its regular Fairford sessions; acknowledges the wide range of activities it now provides, including craft and chat groups, peer movement sessions, senior yoga, wellbeing walks, family hub sessions, toddler groups, community gardening, Warm Welcome initiatives, community meals and support for Fairford Men's Shed; notes the charity's continued expansion into neighbouring communities, including Lechlade, in response to local need; further recognises the invaluable contribution that voluntary organisations such as Working 4 Wellbeing make in strengthening community resilience, improving health and wellbeing and ensuring that no one feels isolated or alone; and wishes everyone involved every success for the future as they continue to make a lasting and positive difference to the lives of people across the South Cotswolds.
