Men Matter Scotland's Glasgow city centre base

That this House congratulates Men Matter Scotland, which was founded in Drumchapel in the Glasgow West constituency, on securing a new city centre base; recognises the vital preventative work undertaken by its street teams in supporting vulnerable, distressed and suicidal men across Glasgow; commends the extraordinary generosity of local people and businesses, who raised around £10,000 in just over a week towards the new facility; notes that the organisation’s main hub in Drumchapel has welcomed more than 12,000 people since the beginning of 2026; further recognises its provision of free, trauma-informed, peer-to-peer mental health support, suicide prevention, counselling, coaching and wellbeing activities; celebrates its growth from three founding members in 2019 to more than 4,500 members; and wishes Men Matter Scotland and its volunteers every success as they continue their vital work supporting men across Glasgow.
