PROPOSED CLOSURES OF LAUNDRIES, LIBRARIES AND SCHOOLS IN WOLVERHAMPTON

That this House calls upon Wolverhampton MBC Liberal-Democratic/ Conservative administration to reverse its recent proposals regarding the closure of schools, libraries and laundries and the increases in home help charges, and to respond positively to the real needs of residents by improving the level and quality of services especially those services needed by the disabled and senior citizens, and which are required in Wolverhampton in order to offset the present economic recession and resulting high levels of unemployment.
