Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Derek Enright (Labour), on Wednesday, 24 June 1992, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 64 members in total.
ECONOMIC LEAGUE AND THE MINERS
That this House condemns the pernicious and undemocratic Economic League for victimising former miners for their political beliefs by circulating their names to potential employers in a vicious attempt to discredit them; and blames this evil organisation for the death of a former miner whose name was on the Economic League list and who committed suicide because he could not find a job.
