Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Gerard Vaughan (Conservative), on Tuesday, 1 November 1994, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 3 members in total.

AWE'S HEALTH AND SAFETY REPORT 1993

That this House welcomes the Health and Safety Executive's Report on the Review of Safety Management Systems at the Atomic Weapons Establishment at Aldermaston; further welcomes the progress the management at AWE is already making in implementing many of the report's recommendations; and notes that the report supports the view that there was no need for a further public inquiry as suggested by the recent report by Reading Borough Council on safety at Aldermaston, for which the council tax payers paid unnecessary costs.
