Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Peter Viggers (Conservative), on Friday, 25 March 1994, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 38 members in total.

HOSPITAL BROADCASTING

That this house notes that the consultation period during which representations may be made to the Radio Authority about the future use of the 105-108 MHz FM waveband ends on 22nd April; notes that one possible use of that waveband would be to permit small scale broadcasting with a service area of up to five kilometres; and urges support for this option, because it would allow a better means of transmission for over 300 hospital broadcasting stations, thus improving the accessibility of their programmes.
