Estimates Days

Ordered that following the recommendation of the Backbench Business Committee on applications considered at its meeting of 17 June, the Liaison Committee recommendation for the allocation of time for the consideration of Estimates on the second and third allotted days in the present session (Standing Order No. 145) is as follows: (1) That a day not later than 5 August be allotted for the consideration of the following Estimates for financial year 2025–26: Department for Education (on the application of Helen Hayes); Department of Health and Social Care (on the application of Paulette Hamilton); and Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (on the application of Florence Eshalomi); (2) That a further day not later than 5 August be allotted for the consideration of the following Estimates for financial year 2025–26: Ministry of Justice insofar as it relates to criminal justice (on the application of Andy Slaughter); Ministry of Defence insofar as it relates to the remit of the National Armaments Director (on the application of Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown); and Department for Transport (on the application of Ruth Cadbury)
