What are the latest figures for hospital waiting lists. - On 31 March 1988 in-patient waiting list 678,000. That is 1.3% lower than March 1987 & 10% lower than March 1979. Supplementary on figures quoted by The Observer unchallenged by Health Dept showing substantial increase.
