To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, if he will list the newspaper and broadcasting companies in Northern Ireland that have received grants from public funds or from Invest Northern Ireland since May 1997, stating in each case the Department or other body responsible for the grant, the purpose for which the grant was made and the sum of money involved. - Inc fact that in Library.

Mr. Lidington: To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will list the newspaper and broadcasting companies in Northern Ireland that have received grants from public funds or from Invest Northern Ireland since May 1997, stating in each case the Department or other body responsible for the grant, the purpose for which the grant was made and the sum of money involved. [208675] Mr. Gardiner: Information for the period 1 April 1999 to 31 December 2004 has been prepared and placed in the Library. Information prior to 1 April 1999 is not readily available.
