Mr. Burstow: To ask the Secretary of State for Health when he expects to publish new guidance on testing and immunisation of healthcare workers for HIV and hepatitis. [217428] Miss Melanie Johnson: [holding answer 23 February 2005]: Guidance on the health clearance of new health care workers for serious communicable diseases, including HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C is due to be published by the summer.
