Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, if he will make a statement on guidance given to companies on the application of working time regulations to the transport sector.

Answer: Mr. Todd: To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement on guidance given to companies on the application of working time regulations to the transport sector. [223456] Mr. Jamieson: We have produced detailed guidance on the working time arrangements provided for in the Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations 2005 (which implement EU Directive 2002/15/EC). We consulted on a draft version of the guidance last October and the finalised version is now posted on our website at www.dft.gov.uk/freight/rtd.
