(Table in Library Dep 05/550).
Answer

Ms Buck: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills if she will rank education authorities by the percentage of children entitled to receive free school dinners; and if she will indicate in each case the change in the percentage receiving free school meals since 1996-97. [222388] Derek Twigg: The information requested has been placed in the House of Commons Library. As a result of Local Government Reorganisation, the geographical boundaries of some LEAs in 2004 are not directly comparable with those in 1997. In these cases, figures for 1997 have not been given.
