To ask the Deputy Prime Minister, what assessment he has made of the environmental impact of the Government's proposed new housing for the South East; what assessment he has made of the impact on (a) road and (b) rail infrastructure of the new housing he proposes for the South East; what proportion of the proposed new houses for the South East he expects to be built on brownfield sites; what his estimate is of the cost of additional public facilities of all kinds to serve the people living in the additional houses he proposes for the South East.

[224784] Keith Hill: These are all matters for the South East England Regional Assembly as part of their preparation of the draft South East Plan, upon which they are currently carrying out a public consultation.
