To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many arrests have been made in the UK under the European arrest warrant.

Ms Stuart: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many arrests have been made in the UK under the European arrest warrant. [224145] Caroline Flint: The framework decision on European arrest warrant came into force in the UK on 1 January 2004. From its coming into force until the 31 March 2005, there have been 67 arrests in the UK under the European arrest warrant.
