Mr. Oaten: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what steps will be taken to inform police and probation officers responsible for local multi- agency public protection arrangements when a control order is imposed on an individual in that area. [224230] Ms Blears: A multi-agency approach has been adopted both before and after a control order is made. The police are fully involved in this process. Probation officers would be involved where appropriate, for example, if the subject of the order was on probation.
