To ask the Chairman of the Catering Committee, what volume of kitchen waste has been discarded on average per day for disposal on the parliamentary estate in 2004; and how much (a) has been sent for disposal (i) in landfill sites and (ii) by incineration and (b) has been (A) recycled and (B) composted.
