- To ask the Secretary of State for Transport whether a Sustainable Development Appraisal was undertaken prior to publication of The Future of Transport White Paper.

A Sustainable Development Appraisal of the ‘Future of Transport' White Paper was published on 21 March 2005, and can be viewed on the Department's website. Copies of the appraisal have been placed in the Libraries of the House.
