Consumer Trading and Standards Agency

- To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what the timetable is for the establishment of the proposed Consumer Trading and Standards Agency.

DTI will shortly be issuing a consultation on the establishment of the new Consumer and Trading Standards Agency, as recommended in the Hampton Report.Hampton recommended that the CTSA should be operational by 2009.
